Barcelona are showing a strong interest in Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin
LIONEL MESSI has reportedly outlined four players Barcelona must sign if they want to challenge Real Madrid.
With Zinedine Zidane's men recording a La
Liga and Champions League double last season Barca know they must make drastic
changes.
Ernesto Valverde is expected to splash the
cash this summer as well as ship out some of the deadwood in the squad.
And it seems talisman Lionel Messi is keen to
put forward his suggestions of who the club should make moves for in the transfer
window.
Spanish publication Diario Gol claim Messi
wants Arsenal's Hector Bellerin, Paris Saint-Germain's Marco Verratti, Everton
winger Gerard Deulofeu and Borussia Dortmund star Ousmane Dembele.
He believes the arrivals of the
aforementioned players will put Barca back in contention to compete with Madrid
for titles.
And it seems a move for Bellerin looks most
likely out of the four with reports yesterday suggesting Valverde has already
given the green light to pursue him and Barca are lining up a £44m bid.
Meanwhile, Verratti's future at PSG remains
uncertain but Barca face competition from Real Madrid and Chelsea for his
signature.
Messi is also hoping a return for Deulofeu
could be on the cards.
